The Minotaur

The minotaur is a Greek mythological creature that is half-man and half-bull.

Minotaur is Greek for ''Bull of Minos.''.

He was nursed by Pasiphae during his childhood, but he became very aggressive. He was put into a labyrinth in Knossos to prevent him from harming anyone.

I was fed 14 humans each day as a tribute from the Athenians.

The minotaur was killed by Theseus. He managed to kill the beast with his own hands. Then he escaped the labyrinth by following the trail of string he left from the exit.

The minotaur is featured in the past and present. Minotaurs can be found in card games, books and movies. Back then the minotaur appeared in fables and novels, such as the Illiad.

Lego has also added minotaur kits to their collections. Comics have also begun to pop up on the web from 1990 to present times. Most comics will make fun of the real story such as the one above.
